Patience, Honesty and Energy

The past two weeks have been filled with yoga, energetic healing, making new friends and patience! In fact I used my intention of patience for my first yoga class on Saturday. I love how yoga relates to how you are in life, how you are on your mat often shows up in other areas of your life. This is one of the reasons I love it so much, you learn so much about yourself and life whilst doing it.

The class was perfect. I have been teaching over the summer at a ladies house in The New Forest, which was lovely, but having my own studio filled with mats, blankets, straps, blocks and a stereo was amazing. Sharing the yoga I love with the people who came just felt totally authentic and where I was supposed to be. I walked home along the beach with a big smile on my face. 🙂

I am being more and more drawn to energy healing work. I spent a fantastic two days on a course called An Audience with Charisma where we rebalanced each other’s chakras, tested our auras with dousing rods and learnt about EFT, Emotional Freedom Technique, a way of letting go of negative thought patterns and pain/dis-ease in the body.

I floated on an energetic high from this course straight into a healing session with a couple who had travelled over from Slovenia. I didn’t really know what to expect but my friend raved about them so much I felt I just had to give it a go! She actually met them after following my Journey of Intention and living a month of saying YES to everything. When a friend called her out of the blue and said she had to fly over to Slovenia immediately to see this couple she could only say YES!

To cut down a 2 hour session into a few lines it was transformational. I let go of trauma’s I have carried with me since my birth, fears I have been carrying around for 1000s of years (literally, they went back to my past lives) and I let go of energetic cords I have had still from relationships that no longer served me or them anymore.

What was the result of all of this? Well I feel lighter, something has lifted off me, my eating habits are changing and I have not taken my asthma inhaler since the session. I don’t want to tempt fate but whenever I feel slightly short of breath I tell myself I can breathe, there is plenty of air and my lungs are healthy and strong. Before I know it the day has passed and no inhalers have been puffed. I am just taking this day by day, being sure to look after myself, but needless to say I was impressed by this couples work.

They will be coming over again in December/January time so if you would like to find out more about them please do get in touch.

My intention this week is honesty. Not just being honest with others, which I think is the easy part, but with myself. I read a great passage from Melody Beattie today;

“The more honest we are with ourselves about how we feel and what we really think, the more power we have”.

My intention of honesty is to only spend time, energy and focus on what is truly authentic to me and my business. I am currently thinking ideas for a monthly meet up group to set up in order to share my skills and meet other people in the area. I want this to be creative, a good time for people to share what their intentions are and a space to help each other create lives they love.

One thing I have learnt over the past year is that you don’t have to travel to far flung places to have a spiritual, mind awakening experience. It’s nice to, and I love India with all my heart, but my journey is still evolving in Blighty!

Until the next time! Namaste xxx
