Join me for a retreat of a life time in India!
The year I started writing this blog I went to India for 6 months to travel, immerse myself in yoga and become a yoga teacher!
Now my intention when I left there is coming true, I am leading a retreat in Kerala 18th -28th November 2018!! I am so so excited to share yoga in wonderful India with you.
Coming Home To Yourself – Kerala Retreat
The intention for the 10 days is “Coming Home to Yourself” We are going to go on a journey through the Chakra’s which is a wonderful tool for self enquiry, healing and bringing the whole system, physically/ mentally/ energetically & emotionally, back to balance.
It will be time to reconnect with yourself, to have time away from everyday life to reflect, restore and rejuvenate.
I will be planning the schedule closer to the time but you can expect; Hatha Flow yoga in the mornings, Yin in the evenings, day trips, time off to explore on your own, plus journalling, self enquiry and short talks sharing yogic philosophy.
Palm Tree Yoga Centre is magical with its ocean views and its roof-top yoga shala. We will have magnificent views of the Indian Ocean as we practice and during the evening practice we will see the sunset over the sea. The centre is placed just above the beach in a peaceful bay, yet is only a half hour stroll or a short rickshaw ride from the shops and restaurants of Kovalam.
Accommodation is spread over three houses arranged in a triangle.
Massages and Ayurvedic treatments can be arranged on-site. Where specific Ayurvedic equipment is required (such as for a herbal steam bath) the treatment will take place at the nearby Ayurvedic Centre.
Sumadra Village is less than ten minutes walk away and has several cafes, a beauty parlour (pedicure £4) and shops

Rough Schedule Outline
7am – 9am Morning flow yoga, mediation and pranayama
Followed by healthy vegetarian breakfast buffet
Day time to relax, swim, visit local places, have a massage.
I am also a life coach so I will offer occasional optional talks and life coaching type exercises to do through the day, along with diary writing. It will also be possible to book 1-1s with me.
5.30pm – 7pm Evening yin yoga and yoga nidra
Followed by vegetarian dinner

This retreat is being run in partnership with Free Spirit Yoga, so bookings are made through them. Prices in 2017 for 10 nights are from £525 sharing and £675 for a single room exc flights/ visa costs, please mention ‘Louise from Create Yourself’ when you are booking. Free Spirit have warned that the venue may increase their prices in May 2018 so worth booking as soon as you can before they do!
Plus I will be on hand for 1-1 life coaching sessions (an optional paid extra) if you’d like any help getting past anything that might be preventing you from creating a life you love or simply to help get clarity in certain situations.

My intention for this retreat is that you enjoy some well deserved me time, relaxation and an opportunity to have time dedicated for your yoga practice. There will be day trips to explore Kerala, Ayurvedic treatments and delicious food!
It will be suitable for beginners. I teach in a light hearted and flexible way, the most important thing is that it feels good for you.
I recommend bringing a notebook for journaling and a yoga block if you can fit it in, just for extra comfort in yin.
